- Description:
- For the Criminal Justice Center, artist Cynthia Carlson designed a series of three unique terrazzo floors depicting significant areas of the Philadelphia region. The floors are based on imagery from historic maps. The artworks can be viewed on the 7th, 9th and 11th floor waiting areas. They were inspired by a quote from Gaston Bachelard's Poetics of Space.
