Re-Creation is a set of two combined ceiling murals and mobiles that greet visitors with a spirit of color and patterns as they enter into the DorothyEmanuelRecreationCenter.  Like a kaleidoscope, the shapes of the suspended three-dimensional sculptures move under the ceiling murals, creating a continuously changing composition.  The artwork reflects the movement and growth Kate observed in this nurturing community atmosphere where the activities revolve around sports, play and education.
