- In 1968 the Prophet was placed at John F. Kennedy Plaza as part of a temporary exhibition, and was relocated to its current location at 16th & the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in 1974. The figure of the Prophet quietly emerges from a block of marble with the shape of his right leg stepping forward. With his head tilted slightly down, his left arm reaches towards his beard as if in reflection.
