Location:
Chestnut Street 7th to 17th
District:

Description:
Pablo Tauler was commissioned to enliven 11 bus shelters along Chestnut Street as part of the City's Percent for Art requirement. Embellished with decorative black powder coated steel friezes, crowns and side panels, each Transit Shelter is unique. Many of the steel overlays reference natural shapes such as the curve of a tree branch or the bend of a leaf. Light filters through and reflects off the faceted glass to create a jewel-like effect.
