Description:
This sculptural mobile is a fanciful speculation about the universe, which was once thought to run like a machine. Suspended from the ceiling, the spinning sifter and Archimedian screw slowly rotate amidst blue celestial charts from the northern and southern hemispheres. An Illustration of the serpent and bear from the Draco and Ursa Minor constellation is depicted on the triangle. The artwork is about the celebration and exhilaration of travel whether one is going away or coming home.
